REVIEW | MakeUp Revolution Viper Mascara

Tuesday, 2 December 2014

As Im sure you know by now, I just love Make Up Revolution. The amazing quality for the teeny prices you pay is addictive and when I noticed recently that MUR had some new items on sale I just couldn't help myself but place an order.
As well as ordering 'The one Fluid Blusher' and the new 'LipHug', I picked up this unusual 'The Viper' Mascara.
I didn't really need a new mascara as I have just bought the Rimmel Wonderfull mascara (which I love, by the way), but when I saw this I just wanted to try it for myself.

I'm not afraid to admit that I am a total sucker for packaging. One glance at a pretty design and it has to be in my basket., and this mascara was no exception.

The packaging is actually what finally swayed me to buy the product. I'm not totally sure why but I just thought it looked really expensive, almost reminiscent of something Urban Decay might print on a packet. It features a gorgeous snake skin design printed onto a luxe bronze tube.
'The Viper' mascara will set you back a minuscule £3.00, and let me tell you, it is worth every penny.

When I  first opened the tube I was so surprised at the shape of the wand. It is curved to fit the eye which gives great ease and comfort when applying. I hadn't tried one like this before and it certainly made me even more pleased with my purchase.

'The Viper' Promises to give lashes with bite - and it did not disappoint.
You use the top of the arch on the brush to inject volume and lift into the lashes while the side and tip of the brush focus on catching every individual lash for a real power packed result.
I was so happy that this mascara did not make my lashes clump or stick together, it just exaggerated each one for a gorgeous finish.

I was so impressed with how this mascara made my lashes look, They are so long and so black and I was super happy that the mascara didn't flake or dry out throughout the day. I also felt that it did an amazing job of catching all of my outer lashes - something I have struggled to do with many other mascaras in the past.

I am totally addicted to this mascara and I'm still amazed that it only costs me £3! This is another fantastic Make Up Revolution product that is sure to be a make up bag staple for many women. The results are impressive and lasting and I know that the tiny price tag will make it a firm favourite!
You can buy 'The Viper' Mascara here, or in Superdrug stores.
