SUMMER | Favourite Polishes

Hey Honeybee's

In the spirit of #ManicureMonday, I am sharing with you some of my favourite Nail Polishes this summer! They are not all new but I think they are all perfect for this season and super fun to wear!

I have lined up a selection of tropical brights, bold sheers and also a fun confetti polish! They all look great with summer trends, are great fun to design nail art with and are quite cheap, too!

The first 3 Tropical Summer Shades come from 'Sinful Colors' - They are just £1.99 each (bargain!), and last really well!
Lets start with 'Pink Forever', a gorgeous bold pink which looks perfect on short and longer nails and lasts amazingly, I love to wear this with plainer outfits to liven them up, as well as brighter outfits to create a really tropical feel! 'Cloud 9' is perfect for summer and it looks especially good with a tan. I love to top this with iridescent glitter as even though it is very bright it does come out slightly sheer. 'Happy Ending' looks great on the toes and really pops with plainer sandals and flip flops. It lasts so well and is a really unique colour that I just cant get enough of! It is sheer, however, so you do need to layer it up for maximum effect!

I am also loving 'Its a Trap-eze' from China Glaze Cirque Du Soleil World Away collection -  You can pick this up for around £3.00 on Amazon, as it is an older collection now. China Glaze polishes contain clay to act as a hardener letting your polish dry super well and last ages! The gorgeous Multi coloured confetti looks so sweet, just like a pick-&-mix. I love to layer this up and wear it alone, or to paint on a thin layer on top of coloured polishes to really pack a punch! 'Guava' from Barry M Gelly Line works brilliantly and costs just £3.99. It is a perfect turquoise colour which I love painting on my toes and sometimes alternating with a silver or silver glitter polish for total summer glam. The Gel formula ensures that your polish stays shiny for ages! 'Banana Split' by Models Own is one of my all time faves - it has a gorgeous banana scent (which you can sample on the lid of the polish), and is a very delicate pastel shade - this works great when you want some colour on your nails but nothing too in-your-face. All this and it only costs £5.00!

And finally a go-to shade for many girls this summer - white.
I am loving L.A Colours 'Energy Source'. White is great as it is so clean and crisp, and as well as looking great alone, you can create so many awesome arts on top of it! Although it seems like a very plain shade, it is very bold once applied, so it is a great choice of shade for making a statement and I find the drying time of the L.A Colors polishes very efficient! L.A Colours polishes are predominantly available in the US but you can find them for as little as £1.99 on eBay!

I hope you enjoyed exploring some of my favourite summer polishes - what are your favourite shades this season?!
