Howdy Sweet Honeybee's! Hows it going?

When Summer is here I LOVE to go makeup shopping for new highlighters and shimmers. The sunlight hits them perfectly to give you a stunning glow and they can really open the face up and accentuate your assets!

My most recent investment was the Rimmel 'Wake Me Up Instant Radiance Shimmer Touch' tubes!
I am becoming increasingly impressed with Rimmel products - considering it was a brand that I once didn't like, I now have a nice collection of their products in my make up selection and am happy to have been proven wrong!

I picked these up online at Fragrance Direct for about £1.50 each but you can also find them on Amazon (here)! I haven't been able to find them on the Superdrug website, So I assume you can't buy them in-store anymore, but for £1.50 online it is worth a couple of days waiting time!

I wasn't overly keen on the packaging for these, as I cant help but feel that they look a bit like the 'Testers' or 'Samples' you'd find on the makeup display instore. Beside this, I do like the Orange cap & text, as they are very in-keeping with the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation and concealer line, and the size of the tubes is perfect for travelling!

I picked up shades '004 Shimmering Sands' and '002 Radiant Rose'.
The product squeezes out of the tube, and you really only need a pea sized amount to go a long, long way!
The consistency is very creamy and applies like a dream!
I find the amount of shimmer to be perfect for my taste, its not absolutely loaded, so you wont go out looking like a glitter ball - it has just the right amount of subtle shimmer to compliment the skin and make it all dewy and lovely!

I really love mixing in a little of the 'Shimmering Sands' Shade with my foundation for an all over golden glow (which looks great with a little bronzer, by the way!), it's also great as a hint of highlighter - on your cupids bow, brow bone, and the tip of your nose.
'Radiant Rose' is perfect to blend into the apples of the cheeks for a slight hint of colour and to give the cheeks a gorgeous flush!

I have used these every day since I've had them, you can really just add as much or as little as you like to get your ideal effect! The wear time is great (particularly with 'Radiant Rose'), and the pay off's are a treat too!

Overall I am so pleased that I picked these up and I am really looking forward to using them when I go on holiday next month and have a tan!

Have you tried the Rimmel Wake Me Up Instant Radiance Shimmer Touch? What did you think?
