HCS Snow White

Snow White has been a favorite Disney character for generations, she is beautiful, kind and elegant & that is why she is a choice for my Halloween make over series!
This simple costume will be easily recognisable for any Halloween event you are attending and can the make up look can be completed in less than 45 minutes!

This is all the Make Up I used for my Snow White Transformation - Costing under £18 in total (and the best part is you can keep it to use again!)
I bought it all from the MUA (MakeUpAcademy Store ) which you can view here;
Undress your skin Foundation in Porcelian
Matte Perfect loose Powder ion Translucent
Undress me too pallete
Liquid Liner in Black
White eyeliner Pencil
Eyebrow Pencil
Pink powder Bklusher in Shade 1
Red Lipstick in Sahde 13

I also Used some of my Kissed Lashes (you can see my post all about them here!)

Lets Begin!;
1. Make sure your Skin is clean and fresh by washing it all with your favourite skin care products - this will make for a smooth surface giving flawless application <3
2. Apply your foundation, I chose shade 'Porcelain' as snow white has very fair delicate skin in the original story - to make sure this matched well with my natural skin tone, I blended the foundation down my neck  as well as over my face
2. Now gently buff over your foundation with the translucent powder - this will help your foundation to stay in place all night and will add to the flawless look!
3.Now its time to create the princess eye look; start by using the fairest matte shade in the undress me too palette and brush this all over your eyelid and up to the brow one. Then take the light matte brown shade and blend this from the outer corner of your eye all along your eye crease - this will give the impression of a larger eyelid and wider eyes!
4. Take your Black liquid liner and gently draw a thin line along your upper lash line, giving your eye lovely shape and definition.
**If you are using false eyelashes, apply them now!**
5. Next, draw along your waterline with the white eyeliner - this gives your eyes a more open, doll-like look!
6. Now apply a generous amount of your pink blusher to the apples of your cheek - snow white has very pink cheeks in the story so I wanted to mirror this.
7.Finally, its time to fill in the trade-mark red lips! If you have a lip brush I strongly recommend using it for precise application, but if not then do this a little at a time, trying to make a noticeable cupids bow on your top lip - to give a girly, pouty look!

. Red hair ribbon - you can buy this at almost any craft or fabric store and such a small amount will cost you almost nothing!
**I have quite long hair so I pulled it back into a bun and then gently tugged sections out and pinned them to give a bigger hair look and wrapped the ribbon around, securing it with some bobby pins.**
. Lace collar - I bought mine on eBay (here) for just £2.99! It is cheap and really adds to the originality of the costume!
. A Red Apple - You could use a real one like me or pick up a plastic one which will keep forever!

 For the dress, some people will like to go out and buy an official costume, which can be found at many costume and fancy dress stotes, but I prefer to buy clothing which I can wear again and again afterwards, so I have searched around and found some cute pieces which will look great for your costume, but also for future outfits!

I love this peplum top from NewLook (£8.99) which can be tucked into this gorgeous embellished skirt, also from NewLook (£11 on sale from £34.99), together they will make a perfect snow white costume - especially when teamed with lovely red heels!

If you are planning on dressing as snow white for halloween, I hope this post has helped & inspired you -  show me your outfit!!
